DIY Photo/Video Studio in Just 14$

May 9, 2017

So, there was a lot of problems while recording previous videos: While recording outside my eyes were irritated with the bright Sun Light, while recording inside there was no sufficient light and it seemed like Horror Movie shot in Dark.

So, I thought of buying the Studio light, but since I am just an amateur I thought it will be waste of money if I am unable to make full and proper use of it. Hence, I thought of creating it myself using locally available material and also thought of creating DIY (Do It Yourself) Video.

Materials Required:

Aluminium Reflector: 1.17*2 = 2.3$ (NPR: 240)

Led Bulb: 4.41*2 = 8.8$ (NPR: 900)

Electric Wire: 0.09*7 Metre = 0.7$ (NPR: 70)

Bed Switch: 0.2*2 = 0.4$ (NPR: 40)

Bulb Holder: 0.2*2 = 0.4$ (NPR: 40)

Electric Tape: 0.2*1 = 0.2$ (NPR: 20)

Electric Plug: 0.1*2 = 0.2$ (NPR: 20)

White Clothe: 0.8*1 = 0.8$ (NPR: 80)

Bamboo and Aluminium wire were available at home.

Total Price: 13.8 ~ 14 USD (NPR 1410)

You see, it took me only 1-2 (max 3 hours) Hours to make this whole thing along with shooting the video but to edit the video it took me 2-3 Days. I was only using Windows Movie Maker (to forward the video) and Bigasoft Video Converter (to split and merge the video), as my Dell i3 Laptop with only 2 GB can’t support the Heavy Editing Software. It was really hard, but I admit I gained a lot of experience.

My 1000$ Per Month Goal

April 29, 2017

(My goal was set about 6 months ago.)

Yesterday, 2017/04/28: I created this video and only 5 days were remaining for me to achieve 1000$ per month, but still I hadn’t earned penny.

Here are my Goals:

(Since, last 6 months I have been Autosuggesting myself that I have already achieved my Goal. It is based on: “Fake it Till you Make it.”)

Weighing 65 KG: But currently I weigh only 62 KG as per my measurement which I did 3 days ago. So, I am short of 3 KG, and I don’t think I will be able to accumulate 3 KGs in just 4-5 Days. So, it seems like I failed that means I should be sad. But I am not, I am happy and satisfied with the progress even though I have failed to meet the target. Because you see, 1 year ago I used to weigh just around 55 KG, but today things have changed a lot. Being a hardgainer it’s a big thing to gain weight, so I am happy with the progress.

Earn 1000$ Per Months: As per today, 2017/04/29 I haven’t earned penny, so I also pretty much failed in this goal. So, that means I should be super sad, but I am not.

(This Photo was taken 2017/04/29)

You see in 6 months I have made a lot of progress. 6 months ago, I never thought I will be creating videos like this.

I have been exercising, meditating and bathing with cold water everyday, every single day and it is awesome to get here.

Nowadays I have been writing frequently, I have become more creative, I am getting more and more ideas and I also have learnt a lot.

I have become stronger Physically, Mentally and Emotionally, I have become courageous.

This all happened because I set the Goal, this all happened because I raise the bar and standard for myself, I push myself to do something that most people think is impossible.

Now, I have realized goal isn’t about just Earning 1000$ Per Month, earning Six figure Salary, buying a car, a new house, getting a Gold Medal, getting that Title or Award.

But it’s all about Self Mastery, it’s about getting better in life, it’s about developing oneself, it’s about learning and getting matured in this journey of life, it’s about finding happiness in what you do. It’s all about you, you getting better and better every single day.

May be also serving the World along the Way.

By the way there is this saying: You don’t get what you want in life, You get only what you deserve. So may be, I still don’t deserve the 1000$. May be, I am still unable to create the impact in other’s people life that is worth more than 1000$. Yeah may be I am still unable to give something of value equivalent to 1000$ to other.

They say, “You will get successful in life, when you help other to become successful.” So may be, I am still unable to help other to become successful.

May be it’s that, my $1000 is on the way and may be when it comes, it will bring millions of dollar with it. Napoleon Hill said, “When riches begin to come they come so quickly, in such great ABUNDANCE, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years.”

Les Brown frequently talks about this Chinese Bamboo Tree. It’s a bamboo tree, that needs five years to grow, but during that five years it will not get out of soil, you will not be able to see the bamboo plant. But you still have to water it, take care of it everyday otherwise it will die. And at the end of five year, it grows 90 Feet tall in just 6 Weeks. So, it means I have to try again and again, it means: May be, my 1000$ is still growing, I need to water it daily, take care of it every single day. It means I shouldn’t be discouraged by my current result.

More than that, I am happy what I have achieved so far, what I have become and what I have learnt in the process. Sometimes I wonder, if I can achieve so much in just 6 months, where will I be in another 6 months from now, 1 Year from now, 5 Years from now, 10 Years from now. OMG, possibilities are endlessly infinite, I am spiritual being and I don’t have any limitation.

So, even though I (apparently) failed in this goal, I will not give up. I will raise the bar and set even bigger goal, I will push myself, I will get out of my comfort zone.

(By the way I still have 4 days remaining and I still have HOPE.”

Beauty of Routine

April 23, 2017

As I am going for Running since last 4 weeks, few days ago, I was having very sharp pain in both of my Knees. So, in 18th of April I went to Butwal (a nearby town) for my medical checkup. Doctor X-Rayed my leg and as nothing was serious; he recommended Calcium Tablets for 1 months and Oil to massage if there is pain.

(The bad thing about the tablet is: they are too big, it is very hard for me to swallow them.)

That day, I was unable to accomplish (or start) my routine in the morning, as I had to go to Butwal in the morning. So, I started working on my routine after I came back home.  Here is the detail log of my day.

(That day, I got this Idea of recording my video, making it inspiration while I was coming back home in the bus.)

Woke Up: ~5:05 AM

Guys, this is the Beauty of Routine, you can accomplish it anytime you want to, it is flexible and easy to follow once it becomes the habit.

Running for LIFE: Day 21st

April 17, 2017

So guys, today is my 21st day.

Today I recorded my video:

(In past there was a lot of thoughts that it takes 21 days to cultivate a habit, if you do it regularly. Everyone were talking about it, many great people included in their books and speeches. But most didn’t knew from where it actually came. But recently it found that it actually came from one of the greatest books Psycho cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, a plastic surgeon, where he said, in average a person takes about 21 days to realize his new self image like to realize about Phantom Limb. But due to telephone effect, the fact got completely changed. People started saying it takes only 21 days to cultivate a habit, moreover 21 day is pretty appealing. Back in the day, I thought the same. But it is just a myth.

I read a blog named Jamesclear.com there was this article: Phillipa Lally a researcher in University College London, ran study for 12 weeks, using that data she found out in average it takes 66 days to form a habit or 18 to 254 days for people to form new habit, well it depends upon complexity and circumstances, harder one takes more time but easier forms within days.)

So, guys this is my progress of last 7 days:

(2039 PM, just came home. Today I had gone to Butwal to upload yesterday’s video and various other posts. Today one unexpected thing happened, a Gay Man dressed as woman came into the Bus, collecting money like a robber from all the passengers, I also gave him then he started abusing me, he started hugging, even kissed in my face, started talking about bad things. I am really feeling weak, it feels uncomfortable. I am anxious, I don’t know whether it was legal or not but I was freezed because of fear, I feel guilty for not being able to defend myself. Still, I don’t feel good. This incident has really moved me. Running for LIFE: Day 14th

April 11, 2017

Daytime Nap: NA

Sleeping Time: 9:36 PM but right now it’s 12:06 AM, a new-day, I am problem with sleeping, part of the reason is I went to Murgiya and feel like I wasted my time.

(0008 AM, it’s technically a new day, So today I had to go to Murgiya for the work of Wielding of Boundary Wall railing, I came home at 9:05 PM. I feel frustrated and depressed to do these type of things. I have to travel about (36+14) + (36+14) KM in Bus for about +5-6 hours and walk +5-6 KM in the Scorching Sun, all alone by myself. Moreover, you have to be there with the workers all the time, to correct their mistakes and carelessness otherwise there is no point of travelling that long. Last year, I had to do this daily for +3-4 months and during that time I was depressed, frustrated, felt like dying, I didn’t wanted to survive. In the process, my routine got out of track, I stopped everything journaling, exercising, meditating and even blogging. So, today also, I am feeling the same. I am feeling not good, I don’t even feel like eating food. I feel this is the waste of my time.)

From today I have started capturing the photo of my friend ‘Grassy’ and daily progression days of running. 0815 AM, Friend called me, he told me 1st year result had come, I just got 233 marks out of 400, which is not good, but I am fine, since I attended class just for 5 days in a year. 1750 PM, Just came home from Murgiya, no progress was made, workers didn’t came, so my time got wasted. Moreover I couldn’t have Daytime Nap, feeling little lazy. 2055 PM, Now I am going to sleep, head is heavy.)

Sleeping time: 9:30 PM

(0935 AM, so today I woke up late and ran at 0840 AM. There were people who were looking at me, laughing at me, there was this guy making fun of my last video. Some people mockingly asked, whether I was running after eating lunch or not, whether I just woke up or what. The main thing is people hate change, if people see someone doing something new, they feel uneasy and start to prevent that change directly or indirectly. So, here people have idea that “We should run only in morning at around 5 or 6 AM.” But guys don’t worry about other people or what they think about you, they will not eat you, they will not attack you esp. not physically. Moreover if they see me doing same thing everyday for longtime then they will stop noticing me, they will stop mocking me, they will get tired and get used to it. By the way, I don’t think I am doing anything wrong, I am running for my good health, I am running for me and I don’t need other’s permission to take care of myself, to do good thing. 2130 PM, strong wind is blowing outside, I think it will rain.)
